04:16 pm - 533
I was just looking at my list of lj tags and discovered that I've done 533 thankful lists (assuming I've correctly used the tag every time). That's pretty good, right?

10:35 am - Weird!!!
My allergist, who is by far my favorite doctor, is the brother of the new Supreme Court nominee (Sonia Sotomayor)! So weird!!

05:05 pm - For Ryan and Andy
Goulash recipe!

I should say upfront that even though this is what my mother makes, she always likes other people's goulash much better.

~
Cook 1 pound elbow macaroni

At same time, brown 1 & 1/2 pounds ground beef with diced green peppers and onions (as many as you'd like of both). Drain beef after browned. Peppers and onions will bake more in the oven.

Add to the beef: salt and pepper, 2 8oz cans of tomato soup, 3 8oz cans of tomato sauce, and a dash of worcestershire or tabasco. Mix with macaroni and place in a 4-5 quart casserole. Cook uncovered for 30-45 minutes at 350 degrees.
~

So it's not very fancy, but I've always loved it! :)

10:33 am - Wedding photos!
I just uploaded some photos from Jackie and Chad's wedding! They're all on Facebook, so Lea, here's the link to them: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=56880&l=903d7&id=502998115

If anyone is wondering why there are barely any photos from the actual wedding day and none of Jackie and Chad from that day, it's because we were both busy during the ceremony and then didn't take many pictures afterwards!

11:44 am - Finally
I've been obsessing over my Top 100 Favorite Songs list for months now... I needed to just put the new list up and be done with it, so I'm here to say that it's finally updated on my webpage! I'm annoyed, though, about how my new table format looks. As with most new things I try to do, it looks fine in my old school webpage program but not quite right in Explorer. I'm not going to stress too much about it right now, though, because the table just hangs off a little on the right... though I guess that may be a bigger problem for people with lower resolutions than mine.

Anyway, check it out if you're interested! I also put up a new page of "fun facts" related to the music lists. :-P

03:03 pm - LJ Strike
Has everyone heard about the supposed LJ Strike that people are planning for this Friday? I don't know a lot about the whole thing yet and therefore am not sure how I feel about it all, but I thought I should spread the word since I hadn't seen anyone on my own friends list mention it yet.

This is where I first heard about it:

09:48 am - Help!!
All of my text here is suddenly justified to the right!! Am I the only one with this problem?! Should I just wait longer to see if it goes back to normal or is there something I should try doing???

UPDATE!
Phew, I guess I'm not the only one. I found this at http://www.livejournal.com/support/

Journals using the Punquin Elegant and Tabular Indent S2 layouts have their text aligned to the right when viewed using Opera or Internet Explorer. This has been reported to developers for investigation. In the meantime, you can switch to another layout, or add this CSS to your Custom CSS:

/* for Punquin Elegant */
table.standard td {text-align: left;}

/* for Tabular Indent */
body, td, p {text-align: left;}
