I should say upfront that even though this is what my mother makes, she always likes other people's goulash much better.
Cook 1 pound elbow macaroni
At same time, brown 1 & 1/2 pounds ground beef with diced green peppers and onions (as many as you'd like of both). Drain beef after browned. Peppers and onions will bake more in the oven.
Add to the beef: salt and pepper, 2 8oz cans of tomato soup, 3 8oz cans of tomato sauce, and a dash of worcestershire or tabasco. Mix with macaroni and place in a 4-5 quart casserole. Cook uncovered for 30-45 minutes at 350 degrees.
So it's not very fancy, but I've always loved it! :)
